Who is behind LPA Pulse?

• I’m Andy and I’m English / Soy Andy de Inglaterra.
• I skipped school to do Global Warming stuff with the BBC back in 1989 when I was 14 – I was Greta Thunberg before she was….
• Background in Commercial Radio.
  Presenter. Producer. Programme Controller. Management. 
  Beacon / Minster / Stray / Trent / Viking FM, Leicester Sound.
  I’ve worked with some amazing audio brands!
• I nearly died as a “Flying Eye” / “Traffic and Travel Reporter“, twice in one week, that job had “danger money” and after a near miss, then a power failure the next day – I quit -and now loathe flying!
• Former BBC Audio Editor (live sports production).
• Authored local newspaper articles.
  Scarborough Evening News.(Yorkshire Coast Radio)
  Loughborough Echo. (107 Oak FM)
• Was simulcasting FM with online streaming, and delivering audio on demand News Bulletins online back in 1999, only four years ahead of what we now call “podcasting”.
• The first voice to broadcast live on DAB Radio in the UK.
• Went digital, sold ringtones / melodías.
  Created a powerful platform to deliver mobile content.
  Sold over a million ringtones. 
  Provided ringtone content to mobile networks and the BBC.
• Sold music online.
  Had a catalogue of 6,500,000 high quality, legal, licensed, mp3 tracks for sale to the public to download and stream.
• First Certified Mobile Web Developer (.mobi / mLTD) 
• Invented a couple of funky internet things.
  “WordPress Mobile Plugin” and “Mobile Device Detection”
  Both had hundreds of thousands of users.
  NASA, Nintendo, Stanford and Shrek all used my code.
• Paid for something on a mobile with PayPal? I did that first.
  First merchant live with “PayPal Mobile” – May, 2007.
  Speaker at PayPal MUSIC event, London, June, 2007.
• My work was cited in about twelve books.
• I turned down publishing deals as tech grows faster than copy can be proofread. 
• Got outvoted 2 to 1 on a £3,000,000 deal.
• Got ripped off by $100,000 a month.
• Burned out, went bust.
• Found myself in Las Palmas.
• Then in Yorkshire to launch a DAB radio station.
• Then in Palma de Mallorca to launch a radio station.
• And back to Las Palmas time and time again!
